Abstract
The main theme of this diploma thesis, focusing on the Design of Creping Machine Drive indicate the basic technological requirements for electric vehicles at the design stage, in particular, identifying the necessary performance and load cycle. Design of propulsion will be displayed via the software tool Sizer Siemens, with which the individual components of the selected drive (rectifier and inverter). Finally, it will be done the dimensioning of asynchronous motors and frequency converters as verification of thermal effects and the possibility of overloading the electric drive. This dimensioning programme Sizer will be verified with the results of manual calculation using the relationships commonly used in practice.
