Možnosti geoturistických tras vedených ve vybranych liniích geologických řezů na území Česka

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the possibilities of using geological sections in geotourism and their effective presentation to the schema_dspacedb. The first aim was to improve the readability and clarity of geological sections at a scale of 1:25 000 by inserting simplified geological descriptions directly into the map output. This approach allows presentation without the need for a legend, thus increasing the accessibility of the output to a lay audience. The second objective was to compare differences in the quantitative interpretation of geological structure between different map scales, whereby geological units were simplified into several basic types for the purposes of analysis. The results show that scale plays a fundamental role in the interpretation of geological data, which is crucial from the perspective of geotourism. The work also includes a practical demonstration of the use of geological sections in the form of a specific geotourism route design, which serves as a case study of linking professional content with field education. A total of 257 optimized geological sections are included in the appendix of the thesis, which serve as a basis not only for analysis but also as application material to be used in future geotourism projects.
