Abstract

The aim of this work is to verify whether the installation of monitoring GPS units in company cars brought targeted effect, and a reduction in variable expenses, arising mainly from private journeys of employees taking these cars. Further evaluate, by using the information gathered, the differences in the periods when drivers were not monitored, and when they were. The subsequent task is to determine the total cost of fleet operations in its current form and propose cost-saving measures at its potential replacement. In the final part, I will deal with, selecting the best combination of vehicle type and alternative fuel.The requirement is to find the necessary information on alternative fuels, which I will aim to prove their meaning and outline the anticipated savings over existing carst that using expensive fossil fuels, diesel and petrol.
