Abstract
Aim of my thesis is conceiving the detailed electrical model of the vascular system. This model simulates the functionality and characteristics of healthy human aorta and femoral arteries. The electrical model also includes remaining arteries and venous system. Two different wiring diagrams are created, which are compared with each other with regard to accuracy and quality simulation of the vascular system. In this thesis was created also physical model of cardiovascular system. The human aorta and femoral arteries are created in the scale 1:2. The main objective of the physical model is to create a pulse wave and measure its parameters. Physical model contains pressure vessels and special blood pump Harvard Apparatus 55-3321. Two pressure sensors ARGON DTX Plus are used to measure the pulse waves. Theses sensors are connected with PC via AD converter. Measured data are processed in the Labchart software where voltage values are converted to pressure values. In Matlab software is created an application to processed voltage data. Results of processed data are parameters of pulse wave. These parameters are analyzed in the Statgraphic program at the end.
