Simulace vybraných topologií spínaných napěťových stabilizátorů

Abstract

This thesis deals with the simulation of switched DC-DC regulators. Initially, a brief description of linear regulators and switched capacitor converters is presented. For switching converters utilizing inductive components, basic terms, control techniques, and occurrence of losses are characterized. Afterwards, the basic non-isolated and isolated topologies are described. The main goal of this thesis was to design circuitries of switching regulators of various topologies and obtain their load characteristics and efficiencies. To achieve this, simulation web interfaces from manufacturers of stabilizers components were used. These interfaces can design circuitries based on given parameters and then perform simulations. Additionally, other capabilities of these interfaces were used, such as loss distribution across components, design optimization, waveforms simulation, and estimation of circuit dimensions and price.
