Abstract
This diploma thesis on the Karvinsko region, with a specific emphasis on its mountains and fascinating mining monuments. The second chapter provides an in-depth analysis of mountain tourism, examining its unique characteristics and exploring it both worldwide and in the Czech Republic. Chapter four delves into the physical-geological and socio-cultural aspects of the Karvinsko region, while chapter five highlights the crucial role played by UNESCO in preserving historically significant sites. Chapter six outlines the methodology and practical component of this thesis, including a detailed description of the procedure and the results of the practical work. Finally, in the concluding chapter, I will present my personal opinions and findings, drawing on the rich and varied data gathered throughout this extensive study.
The work includes passport cards that can be used in the development of mountain tourism in Karvina. And longer in the attachments there is photo documentation of the mine 9. květen.
