Abstract

An important part of the national energy program for each state is the use of fossil fuels in both present and future, which would increasingly contribute for conservation and environmental improvement. Since the sources of energy are usually derived from fossil fuels (oil, coal, natural gas), it is necessary to choose the best option from these materials, which would correspond to the most optimal fuel ( site to environmental and economical), and support the development of society in the 21st Century. Bachelor thesis is focused on systematically prepared the analysis of sales, distribution and use of natural gas as an alternative source of energy. It deals with the structure and positions of RWE Group in the European and especially the Czech energy market. In this study are describes the advantages and disadvantages of natural gas as a major sales item by the group RWE. Next are described the environmental and economic benefits, particularly the use of transport, when the fossil fuel puts it in the front line in energy sources, and minimum degree polluting the environment. Work is also focused not only on business, but also the communication activities of the RWE Group focusing primarily on the customer. Due marketing survey prepared by written questionnaire in which respondents were mainly customers RWE were found knowledge, revealing the public attitude towards natural gas, used as a source of energy.In conclusion of this work were presented proposals for action to develop the use of natural gas.
