Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the principle of working fiber optic interferometer, explaining basic concepts associated with interferometry and gives a picture of the usability Mach- Zehnder interferometer as a perimeter system detects vibrations. Work includes everything you need to understand the function of fiber interferometer in the theoretical part. Content of work is construction and testing of fiber optic Mach-Zehnder interferometer as a sensor sensitive to vibration response test persons. The results showed that each person passing around constructed sensor showed characteristic amplitude spectrum which were unique to each test object, and have a value sufficient signal to noise ratio (SNR). The signal was processed by the application developed for amplitude frequency spectrum, evaluated maximum amplitude of the signal and compared to noise. It can be stated that constructed prototype Mach-Zehnder interferometer is able to detect a test person with 100% efficiency, so we could be considered perimeter devices.
