The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment and updating of the flood plan for the flood area of the special flood caused by the Husinec waterworks. The bachelor thesis starts with a literature search and current technical standards for flood protection, describing the impacts of the special flood on the floodplain, including the potentially affected area. Introduction to the Husinec waterworks, which was built between 1934 and 1839, and the reasons for its construction. In the last part of this work, a proposal for updating the flood plan is made with justification for the changes.
