Abstract
The main aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a tool for organizing and processing scientific
articles. It is a tool that processes uploaded PDF scientific articles, stores them in a database, and
links them to the articles they reference to. In order to achieve this goal, two tools for processing
PDF scientific articles were implemented: The Apache Tika application and The final tool using an
external GROBID server. The final tool is a web application tha t meets the initial requirements.
