Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the design of complex gas-tight barrier within horizontal permanent stoppings preventing the penetration of mine air into the Je-1 pit at the Jeremenko mine in Ostrava – Vítkovice. In my diploma thesis, I focused not only on creating gas-impervious barrier withing the body of the stoppings but also in the surrounding rock environment, and the depth of disruption due to redistribution was determined by calculating the mathematical model in Plaxis 2D software.
