Regulace prodeje tabákových výrobků v EU

Abstract

The aim of diploma thesis is to find differences in tobacco products sale regulation in the Czech Republic and several countries in the EU (Poland, Germany, France, Estonia). The analysis is made especially in the area of advertising and taxes. The theoretical part regulates the terms, tobacco history. It mainly examines EU legislation and the national law of member states. The practical part compares the differences in the sale regulation of tobacco products based on the theoretical part. It deals with differences in generally (for example, where is smoking allowed) and in taxes and advertising. The contribution of the thesis is an overview EU and national law. Furthermore, the Czech Republic comparison with Germany, Poland, France and Estonia enables to recognize the characteristics of this countries in tobacco sale regulation.
