Abstract

This thesis provides a comprehensive overview of concrete production and the various primary raw materials and techniques used in its production. The thesis examines the differences between the linear economic and circular economic approaches and applies the benefits of the circular economy approach in reducing the production of waste and waste and the use of alternative materials. The thesis examines the various options for replacing traditional aggregates with recycled materials, such as crushed waste glass, and evaluates their suitability for concrete production and their potential or more sustainable construction practices.
