Abstract

This thesis was focused on the status of the working atmosphere with regard to ammonia on the central treatment plant in Ostrava, in particular at the workplace, sludge dewatering and sludge sanitized burnt lime and then to determine the links between the ageing process and ammonia concentrations of the sludge hygienizovaného in the "soil" of air. In the work are presented the results of the measurements of the concentrations of ammonia in the air of the operation with the identification of a particular workspace operation with excess ammonia concentrations according to the valid legislation (NV 361/2007 Coll. as amended), when working on this site have been measured the concentration of ammonia in the short range – 43.8 91.7 mg/m3. In addition, the work shows the results of the measurements used to determine the time dependence of the control sample sanitized sludge on concentration of ammonia in the "soil" of the air, which show that after 15 days from the first measurement of the 3 days of the old sanitized sludge concentrations of ammonia have decreased by approximately 80%.
