Analýza návštěvnosti vybraných památek zapsaných do seznamu UNESCO

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the attendance of the selected monuments which are listed in UNESCO World Heritage List. The Czech tangible monuments with the UNESCO largest representation were selected for this purpose. The theoretical part is focused on the UNESCO as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, there is mentioned its formation and its activities particularly in the field of historical sights conservation and also its cooperation with the Czech Republic. The various monuments that are located in the Czech Republic are introduced here subsequently. The aim of this work is to analyse the attedance of the Czech tangible heritage which is described in the practical part. The total attendance of these particular sites is recorded within the five-year period (2008-2012). Subsequently the local sights (in three localities – Lednice-Valtice, Olomouc and Třebíč) were surveyed by questionnaire in terms of visitors´ satisfaction with their quality.
