Finanční benchmarking a odvětvové mezipodnikové srovnání průmyslové společnosti

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with financial benchmarking of selected companies, its phases, financial analysis and intercompany comparison of industrial companies. A significant part is devoted to how to evaluate the financial situation of the company through the methods of financial analysis. Financial analysis of ratios, working capital, golden rules, bankruptcy models and creditworthiness model are applied to Ferona, a.s., EIKA ZNOJMO, a.s., ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Karviná a.s. and Shape Steel a.s. for the period 2015 - 2019. Resources were drawn from publicly available registers. Ferona, a.s. was chosen for the proposal and recommendations for improving the financial health of the company. An important part is the evaluation of the financial health of companies. The last chapter is devoted to the design of recommendations for improving the financial health of the company, especially the evaluation of the proposed recommendations.
