Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the apartment buildings heating issue. Selection of a suitable heating system design and a heating method is important for the house´s reconstruction as well as for the construction of a new house. In the theoretical part of this thesis is performed an analysis of the apartment buildings heating in the Czech Republic and described alternative options for apartment buildings heating and service hot water preparation. Next part deals with the change of heating in terms of legislation and valid contracts with heat suppliers. The practical part of this thesis presents a technical and financial evaluation of the apartment building heating, during the transition from central heat supply to a heat pump.
