Abstract

The subject of this Diploma Thesis is to design barrier-free arrangements of the complex of Building and Woodworking High School, contributory organization, on the street Mojmírovců 42 in Ostrava–Mariánské Hory, including the connection of the solved area to barrier-free routes with connections to transportation systems, providing conditions of use by persons with limited mobility and orientation. For this purpose, the current situation has been analyzed with the analysis of bottlenecks and proposed solution to improve the quality and availability of educational opportunities for people with physical limitations. Emphasis was placed on creating an accessible environment with acceptance of principles of the National Development Programme of Mobility for All and related legislation. An integral part of this Thesis is a drawing part and a brief economic evaluation of proposals.
