Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the system which eliminates knocking in petrol engines. In the first chapter is the system described theoretically. The next part deals with mapping spark advance under normal operating conditions. In the third part there are simulated different conditions for the formation of detonations. The last part of practical measurements looks at changes in levels of specific gases in the emissions. The results are evaluated at the end.
