Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of preventing defects in the production process through the POKA-YOKE method. The main task is to become familiar with the given method and propose measures that will prevent unintended error in the production of the company UFI FILTERS Czech s.r.o., which specializes in the production of oil, air and fuel filters for the automotive industry. A new assembly line was chosen for the practical part. The main goal will be to implement a permanent corrective action and subsequently prevent the reoccurrence of the problem, which would adversely affect the final quality of the product which is shipped to customer.
