Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to create an architectural design study for the area of the Benedictine Monastery Gardens in Emauzy, Prague 2. The design site is bounded on the north side by the monastery garden and on the south side by an open space with a treelined avenue on Trojická Street. The eastern boundary is formed by the builtup area of Vyšehradská Street, and on the western side, it is bounded by Pod Slovany Street. The objective of the diploma thesis is to propose a development within the aforementioned area, serving as a center of education and its associated new public space.
