Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis focuses on studies of risks of the terrorists attacks by motor vehicles on selected soft targets. It describes in general the concept of terrorism and terrorism in Czech republic. It briefly mentions the legislation and the fight against terrorism in Czech republic. It defines the term vehicle ramming terrorism attack and describes similar attacks that happened all over the world or in Czech republic. It mentions soft targets that can be a potential target and mechanical restrains systems that can be used against the attack. The practical part is selecting and describing several places that can be attacked and analyzing the risks. According to the results the final part contains a proposal for security measures.
