Abstract

Public lighting is an integral part of our lives. We encounter it every day. This master thesis deals with the dynamic control of public lighting systems. In the theoretical part, a description of public lighting sources is presented. Furthermore, dimming methods, public lighting cameras, standards regulating public lighting and dynamic control of public lighting are described. The practical part of this thesis is devoted to the measurement of the lighting system, which was carried out in the premises of the public lighting test polygon, located on the campus of the University of Applied Sciences and Technology.
