Abstract

The thesis focuses on measuring and regulation of a small water power plant with the possibility of island mode operation with an asynchronous multispeed generator. It also describes the operation of a power plant as well as the transmission of electricity into the distribution network. The thesis proposes a new electrical connector and outlines a control system enabling remote monitoring and remote control. The documentation was created in the widely recognized ePlan Electric P8 system, which is the most common design system worldwide.
