Abstract

Climate change is currently one of the greatest challenges facing human society. Therefore, world leaders must act and work together to create measures to mitigate climate change. The bachelor's thesis on topic "External Climate Policy of the European Union" focuses on the development of climate policy in the international negotiations and in the European Union. The European Union is a global initiator in the fight against climate change. Over the years, it has focused significantly on the development of this policy and seeks to create new initiatives in the international environment. This work aims to evaluate and make recommendations for streamlining the position of the European Union as a global leader in climate policy, based on the theoretically defined development of climate policy and external negotiations.
