Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis was to create a design entrance object to the arboretum in Nový Dvůr near Opava. The design was created to meet the requirements of the Silesian Museum to eliminate the biggest problems of arboretum. One of them was insufficient parking. The idea was to create underground garage that does not disturb the character of nature for a large car park. In my design, I tried to involve nature, that the arboretum is inherently, so I designed the building with a green roof, which will be accessible via ramps within the arboretum. On the roof, visitors can enjoy views of the surroundings.
