Abstract

The aim of the Bachelor Work is to present the system of the health care in Slovakia. The first chapter describes the health care system in general. It presents the basic models of health care organizations in the world, financial resources and describes the actual situation in Slovakia. The second chapter is addressed to the health care system reform, which was implemented in Slovakia in 2004. It features bases and intents of the reform. It offers detail information about the legislation which was brought by the new reform. At the end of this chapter the whole reform is evaluated. The final chapter is devoted to the Kysucka Hospital with Policlinic Čadca. It introduces the organization structure and the economics primarily. It describes the earnings and costings items, which are shown in graphs in consequence. The analysis of earnings and costings showed, that the hospital has been achieving the deficit for several years. Despite of this, the hospital is constantly trying to get improved and to afford the best health care.
