Ekonomické zhodnocení využití klasických a alternativních paliv u osobních automobilů

Abstract

This thesis deals with different propulsion options of cars. Fuel prices in the Czech Republic are growing and so do the car operation costs. Therefore many of car owners are looking for a cheaper way to save money without mileage restriction. Currently there are several possible types of alternative fuels on the market. All these fuels have a reasonable price and they are safe and environmentally friendly but they require extensive or less extensive drive unit intervention to guarantee trouble-free working and long system life. The thesis presents conventional and alternative fuels and subsequently there are selected fuels compared in terms of investment and operating costs. This comparison is made on the passenger car model Skoda Octavia.
