Abstract
The thesis is focused on the management of infectious waste in the health sector. The paper containes a valid legal requirements for disposal of clinical waste. Then it deals with the actual sorting, collection, collection, transportation and disposal of medical waste types. Medical waste should beshould be access to with all the caution due to potential risks. Diagnostic laboratory SPADIA LAB in Moravskoslezský Region provided me countless valuable information about the handling of medical waste.
