Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue of rail transportation in the city of Ostrava, in order to focus on the new transport service rail transport, this means that passenger and freight services to industrial zones. The thesis is an analysis of the current situation, history, expansion and extension of rail transport in Ostrava agglomeration and familiarization with the already developed studies combined transport tram - train in Ostrava. The second part focuses on the industrial zone Hrabova, which is designed to transport links tram passenger and freight transport. Finally, a comparison of the two variants, the tram line along existing tracks, create a timetable for the proposed new streetcar line management options and recommendations freight trams.
