Abstract

The aim of this thesis is the determination of the content of toxic metals in dust particles in the premises of the building of the Silesian Museum in Opava. The work focuses on the metals used in the reagents for preservation exhibits, i.e. As, Cd, Cr, Hg, Ni, Pb, Sn, V and Zn. It deals with the presence of toxic metals in the environment, pollution sources and cycling in the environment, the negative impact on the environment in general. Closer work focuses on the environment, museums and exhibits pollution sources and pollution limits in the workplace. Samples are analyzed using electrothermal AAS instrument UNICAM 989 QZ, analyzer AMA 254 and ICP - AES device Ciros vision.
