Abstract

The topic of the work is modeling of the process of disintegration of the degraded layer of construction materials by high-velocity water jets during their preparation for repair action. The optimum parameters for technological processes used for surface preparation before application of repair materials in civil engineering will be specified on model materials with artificially prepared corroded layers. Destructive action of high-velocity water jet on concretes of various qualities and corrosion damage degree will be studied both experimentally and theoretically. Experimental tests are submitted with the emphasis to subsequent practical utilization of acquired knowledge for disintegration of concrete during repairs of concrete constructions in civil engineering, degraded by sulphur and carbon oxides, water by phase transformations (cyclic freezing and refreezing) and by chemical defrosting means. The result of the submitted work is determination of methodology of classification degraded and treated concrete surface.
