Abstract
This diploma thesis is concerned with a revision of the current safety features of a selected company. The thesis first deals with relevant legislation and important technical standards which are related to the topic. This is followed by a chapter concerned with the characteristics of the current safety state of the selected facility and focuses on a general description of the facility and its immediate surroundings. In addition, this thesis attempts to identify and evaluate safety hazards based on analyses performed. Finally, new measures are proposed based on hazards analysis.
