Návrh úprav na křižovatce Polanecká - výjezd na okružní křižovatku v Ostravě-Svinově

Abstract

The theme of this Diploma thesis is to propose different solution scenarios of assigned intersection based on conducted research and analysis. The Diploma thesis is structured into 6 parts. The first part describes chosen area and its surroundings in details and summarize current situation. The second part is consisted of practical assignments like as Traffic research, Traffic intensity and calculation of current capacities as well as predicted future capacities. The part number three disserts upon Analysis of road accidents and conflict situations including summation of issues and proposed resolutions. In the fourth part are then proposed 2 variants to redesign current intersection to intersection controlled by traffic lights and to roundabout. Both of the proposed variants are backed up by capacity calculations and do respect current conditions. The fifth part compares and evaluates specifications of each of the proposed variant. The last part list up conclusions and provide with overall recommendations.
