Abstract

Ball valves are indispensable element of industrial equipment. Requirements for oil and gas transportation, increase of industrial production, construction of new nuclear power plants, it makes assumption for development of this industry. Reliability and correct function of each parts and the whole armature for entire lifetime largely depends on appropriate material selection. Thesis describes material specification, their testing, metal plating of some parts, and thier properties.
