The presented bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of anti-flood equipment of the Fire and Rescue Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region and proposes its addition. The introduction describes the characteristics of floods in general and also describes the floods that affected the territory of the Czech Republic and the Moravian-Silesian Region in the recent past. Furthermore, the issue of flood protection is described and also the localities in the Moravian-Silesian region that are not sufficiently protected from floods. This is followed by a description of the flood protection equipment of the Fire and Rescue Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region and other congregations. In the next part of this thesis there is an overview of mobile flood defenses available on the market. Then the thesis deals with the selection of suitable mobile flood barriers, which must be able to guarantee the protection of selected endangered localities. The conclusion of the thesis presents a proposal for the range of anti-flood equipment of the Fire and Rescue Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
