Abstract

This thesis deals with the issue, determinig the source of fire in buildings. At first is the problem of combustion is discussed. This works describes combustibles, ignition sources and oxidizing agents in terms of possibility of fire. Then follows an evaluation of existing knowledge on the fire location using the statistics of the Czech Republic and other selected countries. In the statistics, the issues of propability of fire are solved. Atention is also paid to the causes of fires and their place of origin. The thesis also deals with the conditions and actions that have an impact of fire. The last point is an analysis of fire danger. The aim of this thesis is to develop the metology the determinig the propable location of fire in buildings with increase fire danger.
