Abstract

The topic of this master's thesis are porous metallic materials, theoretical part describes the characteristics, type and technology of production and industrial use. The porous material is prized for its distinctive properties that will be described in theoretical part. In the experimental part are executed production types of metallic foams with a regular cell structure foundry methods. The results of experiments are evaluated regarding about experimental casting methods Lost Foam and casting for non-evaporable model - infiltration of the metal into the precursor cavities. Experiments were performed in school specialized laboratories under the supervision of experienced professionals.
