Radomír Ščurek, Ph.D. The subject of this thesis is a study of acceptace of traffic lights at pedestrian crossings. The thesis consists of two main parts. Theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is a summary of regulations, standards and other documents required for pedestrian crossings, which is suplemented with selected terms. The other part is aimed at theory of pedestrian crossings as such. The practical part consists of observing and evaluating the observation, which is supplemented with a list of possible measures for improvement.
