Abstract

This thesis describes the technology of RFID and standards using electronic product code that can be used together in the food industry. The introduction of thesis is focused on RFID technology, its origin and important components necessary for a functional RFID system. Further, there is described the EPC and methods of its registration under specific formats. Part of this thesis is the practical part – a RFID system for a food industry.
