Abstract
This thesis deals with questions considering consumer´s legal protection and the awareness in this field. Thesis is divided into two parts.
Theoretical part deals with definition of main notions related to consumers rights (such as history of legal protection, basic legislation governing such problems, organizations relating with legal protectoion and main instruments of citizen´s defence). In practical part I investigated information level of citizens related to their rights and main knowledge of these questions. I analysed this part by lists of questions.
After evaluation of practical part I made suggestions which might contribute current situation and improve larger degree of citizens awareness.
