Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with new taxonomic, physiological and morphologic informations about Archaea domain. In the introductory describes characteristic, common attributes of all three domains and physiology and morphology archea cell. Another part of the diploma thesis id devoted to taxonomic fragmentation of individual archea domain species, and possibilities of their practical use in biotechnological processes. Experimental work includes monitoring of the cultivation of selected bacterial genera Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans for 28 days and follow-up evaluation of its growth curve.
