Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to design an elementary school – construction of solutions, building thermal technology, daylighting, indoor acoustics, forced ventilation and an economical evaluation. The elementary school has three floors and a flat roof. The school has a capacity of 410 people.
The building thermal technology part includes the calculation of heat transfer coefficient, heat losses, thermal bounds, thermal stability and the Energy Performance Certificate. The daylighting assessment evaluates the daylight factor of all rated rooms. The indoor acoustics calculations include the sound insulation between classrooms, offices, the library and the aula. The forced ventilation solves the classrooms, offices, library, aula and kitchen. Two ventilation units are used.
