Řízení odsiřovacích procesů při výrobě surového železa

Abstract

This diploma work deals with problems of the sulphur content control in pig iron. It is explained the origination of slag and its physical and chemical properties. Desulphurization of pig iron in blast furnace is described from the thermodynamics and kinetics points of view, including molecular and ion theory of desulphurization. In with the scope of ladle treatment of pig iron, used desulphurization agents and procedures are presented, which allow to achieve low contents of sulphur in pig iron. In the practical part functions of blast furnace before and after establishment of ladle treatment desulphurization are analyzed and the basis of optimal control of the process using lime and magnesium are performed.
