Abstract
The topic of this diploma thesis is the focus and processing of 3D laser scanning of a rock formation in the Kočovce area. The main idea of the work is based on the capture, description and explanation of all necessary aspects of the process of geodetic measurement and subsequent creation of a 3D model of a rock formation. The thesis with the theoretical basis of scanning based on a terrestrial laser scanner.
These theoretical starting points were subsequently applied in the practical part of the thesis, which consisted in scanning a rock formation located in the area of Kočovce, Nove Mesto nad Váhom District, the Slovak Republic. This practical part consists in the processing of measured data by terrestrial laser scanning and photogrammetric method. The laser scanning was processed in the FARO SCENE program and the photogrammetric method was processed in the Agisoft metashape program. The result of the diploma thesis is a comparison of these two methods.
