Abstract

The aim of the thesis „Evaluation of Company´s Performance“ is to evaluate efficiency of the company by means of traditional and modern methods and to suggest recommendations for its future entrepreneurial activity. The theoretical part was developed on the basis of professional literature studying and describes the term efficiency in more details and individual approach as well as methods to its measurement. Out of the traditional methods ratios were chosen, decomposition of indicator ROE and total index IN, from modern economic value added in original calculation methodology EVA entity. Introduction of the practical part is focused on giving more details of the analyzed company and surroundings were it acts. Afterwards, the findings from the theoretical part are applied to the company, ratios simultaneously become the object of comparison with two chosen competitors. The final part includes total summarization, comparison of efficiency by traditional and modern methods and suggestions measures to be taken by the company in the future.
