Abstract

The thesis deals with the different use sof waste generated during the extraction of wood to its adjustment to the final product. The vast majority of wate is sold for the purpose of obtaining heat. In the thesis I have suggested how the company Ostravské městské lesy a zeleň, Ltd. couldmanage the disposal of wood waste. At the beginning of the thesis describe forests and vegetation that occurs in the city of Ostrava. I describeb the most important forests that are located in this city. Then I described the green category and the company Ostrava urban forests and green areas.
