Abstract
The thesis deals with differences in wages in the labor market. The theoretical part examines the causes of these differences. The practical part is divided into two chapters. The first one deals with rewards in wage and salary spheres of chosen professions, the second one deals with the comparison of salaries of selected professions among some EU countries.
