Abstract

The presented Extended essay deals with the possibility of the use of groupware technologies in the conditions of a Town Hall concerning the possibility to make the main process more effective with the help of groupware system. The first part deals with the theory of information and the possibility of its sharing generally, saving and processing in the environment of organizations. The next part analyses different methods and instruments suitable for information processing and the possibility to use the components of groupware systems. The final part describes the process of groupware system implementation and starting the pilot operation at a chosen department of the Town Hall.
