Abstract

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the presentation of the whole process of extraction of building stone from exploration to expedition of the basalt quarry Měrunice. The result of the process is a high quality crushed stone, which plays an irreplaceable role in the construction. The final part describes the impact of mining on the environment and the remediation and reclamation of an area of basalt quarry Měrunice.
